Mat Ishbia stated that he expects Kevin Durant to signal an extension with the Phoenix Suns subsequent offseason and end his profession with the crew.
“[Durant] loves being in Phoenix, we love having him. He is off to a tremendous begin this season — one of many MVP leaders — and we’re off to an excellent begin.
“We anticipate Kevin to signal an extension, be with us for the long run. We hope he finishes his profession right here in Phoenix,” stated Ishbia.
Durant might be eligible for a two-year, $120 million extension this coming offseason.
Durant’s present contract runs by the 2025-26 season.
