The UFC introduced on Friday that Holland is ready to face Vicente Luque at UFC 316. The occasion takes place June 7 on the Prudential Heart in Newark, N.J.
Luque makes his 2025 debut, and does so coming off of a 52 second submission win over Themba Gorimbo at UFC 310 in December. The 33-year-old bounced again from a stoppage loss to Joaquin Buckley at UFC Atlantic Metropolis 9 months prior. Luque was scheduled to face Nick Diaz on two separate combat playing cards this previous 12 months, however Diaz was pressured to withdraw from each contests.
Holland makes his standard fast turnaround coming off of a powerful choice win in opposition to Gunnar Nelson at UFC London in March. The win marked a profitable return to the 170-pound division after struggling back-to-back stoppage losses at middleweight to Roman Dolidze and Reinier de Ridder.
