Former middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis broke his silence on Monday about his one-sided UFC 319 loss to Khamzat Chimaev.
Chimaev dominated Du Plessis over 5 rounds on the United Middle in Chicago on Aug. 16 to seize the 185-pound championship. Du Plessis made no excuses for the loss and plans an ‘unimaginable return to glory.’
“It’s been simply over per week and I’ve spent a while with my household and associates, these closest to me who might be with me win or lose.
