The Toronto Blue Jays purchased themselves a while with pitcher Max Scherzer.
The Blue Jays introduced on Wednesday that Scherzer was positioned on the injured record on account of again spasms. Scherzer had beforehand spent roughly six weeks on the IL on account of proper forearm tendonitis and left ankle irritation.
Scherzer’s 2026 season has been a catastrophe when he has been in a position to take the mound. He has posted a ten.23 ERA and a 1.727 WHIP over his 22 innings, placing out 14 batters with 11 walks.
Opponents have posted a .303/.382/.629 batting line in 102 plate appearances in opposition to Scherzer, hitting 9 homers.
