The Dodgers have made a stunning change to their pitching plans for the Nationwide League Division Collection. As a substitute of right-hander Jack Flaherty taking the mound for Sport 1 towards the rival San Diego Padres, Los Angeles will likely be throwing out rookie starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

Andrew Friedman confirmed the change of pitchers.

Change of plans, from Andrew Friedman: Yoshinobu Yamamoto will begin Sport 1 on Saturday, and Jack Flaherty will pitch Sport 2 on Sunday.

Large issue was having as many guys lined up and obtainable for a possible Sport 5.
