In boxing, he competed between 1967 and 1997 and was nicknamed “Large George”. As an entrepreneur, he was recognized for the George Foreman Grill.
Foreman has been inducted into the World Boxing Corridor of Fame and Worldwide Boxing Corridor of Fame. He gained a gold medal within the boxing/heavyweight division on the 1968 Mexico Metropolis Olympic Video games. Within the finals, Foreman defeated the Soviet Union’s Jonas Čepulis.
