The beforehand scheduled UFC flyweight title battle between champion Joshua Van and challenger Tatsuro Taira has moved from the April 11 UFC 327 card in Miami and now takes place at UFC 328 on Could 9 in New Jersey.
A UFC middleweight title battle between champion Khamzat Chimaev and former champion Sean Strickland will headline the UFC 328 card in Newark.
The trigger for the postponement has not been launched though the short turnaround from April is constructive.
Van claimed the title in December when then champion Alexandre Pantoja was injured in that conflict. The bout in opposition to Taira will function the brand new champion’s first protection.
