The Mets have signed free agent right-hander Frankie Montas to a two-year, $34MM deal, in keeping with ESPN’s Jeff Passan (X hyperlink). Jon Heyman of the New York Submit provides (through X) that Montas can decide out of the contract after the 2025 season, and the righty will earn a fair $17MM in every of the 2 seasons. Montas is represented by the Boras Company.
