NAISMITH BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME ANNOUNCES THE TOP 10 CANDIDATES FOR THE 2025 MEN’S AND WOMEN’S POWER FORWARD OF THE YEAR AWARDS

SPRINGFIELD, MASS. — The Naismith Basketball Corridor of Fame introduced the Prime 10 candidates for the 2025 Karl Malone Award and, in partnership with the Ladies’s Basketball Coaches Affiliation (WBCA), the Prime 10 candidates for the 2025 Katrina McClain Award.

The annual Karl Malone Award, named after the Class of 2010 Corridor of Famer and two-time NBA Most Helpful Participant, celebrates its eleventh 12 months by recognizing the highest energy forwards in Division I males’s school basketball.

The Katrina McClain Award, now in its eighth 12 months, acknowledges the highest energy forwards in girls’s NCAA Division I school basketball. It’s named after the two-time All-American, 1987 Nationwide Participant of the 12 months, and Class of 2012 Corridor of Famer.
