Pedro Acosta says teaming up with Marc Marquez would be a “dream come true”

Pedro Acosta has admitted that becoming a member of nine-time world champion Marc Marquez in a MotoGP staff could be a “dream come true” for him.

The KTM rider is all set to make a high-profile transfer to Ducati for the beginning of the 850cc laws in 2027, changing the underperforming Francesco Bagnaia on the manufacturing facility squad.

Though the deal was agreed earlier than the beginning of the season, as reported by Motorsport.com in February, the absence of a business settlement between producers and MotoGP for 2027 has prevented Ducati from making a proper announcement.

Thus far, Acosta has remained tight-lipped about his future in MotoGP, as a substitute specializing in the duty at hand and his ongoing commitments with KTM, which backed him from his early days in bike racing.

However forward of final month’s United States Grand Prix, Acosta’s idol Kevin Schwantz made an intriguing remark, suggesting that pairing the 21-year-old with veteran Marquez would create a “dream staff” – with out explicitly referring Ducati.

When this remark was put to Acosta, the Spaniard mentioned he would relish such a possibility, very similar to some other rider on the grid, though his remark wasn’t in context of a possible change to Ducati.
