The highest-seeded Italian recorded a 7-6 (4), 6-3 victory over the four-time former champion Djokovic in a single hour and 37 minutes.

With the runner-up end on the Rolex Shanghai Masters, Novak stays on the right track for ATP Finals qualification. He’s presently in sixth place within the Race to Turin with 3,910 factors.
Djokovic will participate within the upcoming Six Kings Slam match in Riyadh. He’ll face the winner of the match between Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev on October 17.
