“The collection in opposition to Pakistan is a crucial platform for Zimbabwe, and we imagine the ODI squad we’ve got chosen is well-rounded,” David Mutendera, Zimbabwe’s convener of selectors, stated in a press release. “The presence of seasoned gamers like Craig [Ervine], Sikandar [Raza] and Sean [Williams] supplies stability, whereas younger gamers like Clive Madande, Brian Bennett, Dion Myers and the uncapped trio deliver power and the potential for game-changing moments.”
“We felt it was important to take care of the identical T20I squad that excelled in Kenya,” Mutendera stated. “This continuity permits the group to construct on the cohesion and confidence that drove their excellent efficiency.”
The white-ball collection in opposition to Pakistan will start with the primary ODI on November 24 and can run till December 5, with Bulawayo set to host all of the video games – three ODIs and three T20Is.
