The Eddy Alvarez period in Los Angeles was a simple one to overlook.
On June 3, 2022, his contract was chosen from Triple-A when infielder Edwin Rios went down with a proper hamstring pressure. To make room for him on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers positioned Kevin Pillar on the 60-day injured record, ending his time in Los Angeles.
Alvarez performed 14 video games for the Dodgers in restricted responsibility, was designated for task in Aug. 2022, and hasn’t resurfaced within the majors since.

The New York Mets acquired Alvarez, 34, from the Boston Pink Sox for money. The transaction was relayed through the crew’s transaction log; later Monday the Mets bought Alvarez’s contract, bringing him again to the majors for the primary time since his tenure in Los Angeles ended.
In 50 profession main league video games, all with the Dodgers and Miami Marlins, Alvarez has 142 plate appearances with a .183/.262/.262 slash line.
