Brewers right-hander Jacob Misiorowski set an MLB file on Monday in Milwaukee’s 5-1 win over the Cardinals, throwing 57 pitches that reached no less than 100 mph on the radar gun, making it probably the most by any pitcher in a single recreation since pitch monitoring began in 2008.
Misiorowski tied a profession excessive with 12 strikeouts within the recreation and he turned the primary pitcher in Main League Baseball this season to succeed in the 100 strikeout mark.
“That’s what I do,” Misiorowski informed reporters after the spectacular efficiency. “I throw exhausting.”

Misiorowski is 5-2 this season with a 1.83 ERA in 11 begins for the Brewers.
He’s in his second season within the majors after making his MLB debut in June 2025, coincidentally, towards the Cardinals.

Misiorowski has solely been getting higher with each begin since then and Brewers main league pitching coordinator Jim Henderson has seen it firsthand.
“We’re seeing it occur earlier than our eyes, so that you begin believing it,” he informed MLB.com. “Two or three weeks into the season, there was a bullpen between begins when he was touching 99 mph. We had been like, ‘Jesus.’”
