Two-time mountain bike world champion Kate Courtney continues her hit-parade season with a debut on the UCI Highway World Championships for Staff USA, happening in Montréal, Canada, September 20-27.
Courtney earned her spot with a victory in her first look on the elite ladies’s US Professional street race championships. She then moved to an off-road marketing campaign that included lacking the defence of her Leadville Path 100 MTB title, and signed a multi-year contract with FDJ United-SUEZ.

The lads’s roster contains 18 complete riders, 10 competing within the U23 and junior divisions. The 4 riders who gained US nationwide titles in June are a part of this group – U23 street race winner Ashlin Barry (Visma-Lease a Bike Growth), U23 ITT winner Kade Kreikemeier (Meridian Racing), junior males’s street race winner Enzo Hincapie (Grenke – Auto Eder) and junior males’s ITT winner Kashus Adamski (Scorching Tubes Biking).
Racing in downtown Montreal begins with the elite time trial races on Sunday, September 20, the ladies setting off at 9:00 EDT and the boys at 12:45 EDT. The U23 fields competed in races in opposition to the clock on September 21, with blended relay and junior classes competing on September 22. After an open day on Wednesday, competitors resumes from September 24-27 for street races.
