The NBA is ready to research an incident involving Joel Embiid shoving Marcus Hayes of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the league introduced on Saturday night time.
„We’re conscious of experiences of an incident within the Sixers locker room this night and are commencing an investigation,“ stated an NBA spokesperson in a press release.
Embiid took problem with a column wherein Hayes referenced Embiid’s son and late brother.

The remark appeared to set off Embiid, who then raised his voice and pushed Hayes on the shoulder.
Staff officers received in between the 2, with crew safety asking reporters to not report on the incident.
