Verstappen looked puzzled: 'What does that mean, papaya rules?'

Max Verstappen has some opinions of McLaren’s controversial “Papaya Guidelines.” He thinks Lando Norris would have been nearer to him within the championship standings if McLaren had not used these guidelines through the season. The season would have been completely different if the McLaren crew had prioritized Norris, as Verstappen believes Norris may have simply doubled his factors.
